Members of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ family sustained injuries following a vehicle accident outside Levi’s Stadium on Sunday.
The incident reportedly happened when a barricade unexpectedly rose and struck the second vehicle in the family’s convoy. Among those in the vehicle were Jerry’s daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson, his son, Jerry Jones Jr., and Charlotte’s son, Shy Anderson Jr.
Both Charlotte and Jerry Jr. were assessed by the Cowboys’ medical team at the stadium. Preliminary evaluations indicated that Charlotte may have sustained a rib injury, while Jerry Jr. experienced a head injury. Despite the accident, both were able to join other family members in the visiting owners’ suite to watch the game.
The Jones family, known for their presence at every Cowboys game, faced this unexpected challenge shortly before the evening’s NFL game against the San Francisco 49ers.
