Mystichrome, the color-shifting paint Ford first introduced in 2004 for the SVT Mustang Cobra, is making a comeback for the 2024 Mustangs. However, this exclusive option is only available through RTR Vehicles.
Starting with the 2024 model year, RTR Vehicles offers Mystichrome as a Premium Paint option. Mystichrome, known for its mesmerizing blend of blue, purple, green, brown, and gold, changes appearance based on the light and angle.
Unlike the original Mystic paint used on the 1996 SVT Cobra, which incorporated a special dye used in US currency and required government oversight for repairs, Ford Mystichrome paint does not have such restrictions.
This eye-catching option comes at a premium price of $15,995 and is available only on RTR Spec 2 and Spec 3 Mustangs. Production is limited to just 1,000 vehicles.
