Piedmont High School is mourning the loss of three recent graduates who died in a fatal car crash on Thanksgiving week. The community is grappling with the tragedy, as students and staff come together to support one another.
The three students were killed in a single-vehicle crash involving a Tesla Cybertruck. The vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree and a wall, resulting in a fiery collision.
Local authorities, along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the National Traffic Safety Board (NTSB), are investigating the circumstances of the deadly tesla crash in Piedmont.
The school’s wellness center is providing counseling services to students and staff affected by the loss. The community has shown an outpouring of support, leaving flowers, cards, and candles at the crash site.
