Ford Motor Co. has filed a patent for a system enabling cars to report speeding drivers to the police. The application, titled “Systems and Methods for Detecting Speeding Violations,” was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on July 18, 2024. The Ford speeding tech would use vehicles to monitor each other’s speeds.
